HPSNZ is delighted to offer ten scholarships for athletes to work with the Athlete Life Team and create an internship package that will suit each successful applicant’s interests, and sporting campaign.
This addition is designed to partner with a broad range of organisations to help our high performance athletes with a career jump start and industry experience through a paid internship.
“The Prime Minister’s Scholarships we have here in Aotearoa New Zealand are unique, and something not seen in other countries,” says Hannah McLean, Athlete Life Advisor and Pilot Lead.
“As a former athlete myself I am excited that we’re now able to expand the programme to offer 10 paid internships for our athletes as part of this pilot.”
The Prime Minister’s Athlete Scholarship internship is on offer to HPSNZ-supported athletes who are ready to make the next step in their career.
